The competition intensifies as the remaining ninjas take their shot at the 10-obstacle Finals course. The elite few who move forward into the top eight will then compete in a playoff bracket where they will race head-to-head on the Power Tower. The winner takes home $100,000.

The competition moves into the Finals round with a two-night event to determine this season's champion. 28 top ninjas face up to ten diabolical obstacles including Falling Shelves and Dragonback, which are new to the course this year. The top eight advance to the Power Tower Playoffs to compete head-to-head to determine a winner. Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila host and Zuri Hall reports from the sidelines.

A speedy competitor, Drechsel has qualified for the finals in Las Vegas five times and made it to Stage 3 two times. Five-time competitor Moravsky has made it to Stage 3 on the Las Vegas finals course three times, more than any other athlete in the competition. Also joining Team USA this year are former nationally ranked gymnast and head coach/trainer Najee "The Phoenix" Richardson and Sean Bryan, the "Papal Ninja." Bryan is also a former competitive gymnast and NCAA athlete who enjoyed a breakout season on "American Ninja Warrior" this past summer.

The qualifying rounds conclude in Denver, Colorado where competitors tackle two never before seen obstacles, the Cat Grab and Doorknob Grasper. The show's most notable competitor, Brian Arnold, returns to the course. MMA fighter Michelle Waterson competes along with Harlem Globetrotter Bull Bullard and BMX champion Morgan Wade. Also tackling the course is Drew Manning, author of the New York Times best seller "Fit2Fat2Fit." Competitors in this rigorous obstacle course competition series will vie for the title "American Ninja Warrior."

Miami, Florida is the next stop for competitors to give it their all on the obstacle course. They will face all new obstacles the Dancing Stones, the Downhill Pipe Drop and the Mine Field. Miami is never short of fierce competition. Former Las Vegas Finalists Joyce Shahboz, Drew Drechsel and David "Flip" Rodriguez return. Wakeboard champions Rusty Malinoski and Shaun Murray compete as well as former professional Baseball player Rich Thompson. Two Olympians will attempt the Miami obstacles, Canoeist Fabien Lafevre and luger Preston Griffall. Competitors will vie for a chance to win a cash prize of $500,000 and the title "American Ninja Warrior."

Five top American competitors from "American Ninja Warrior" will compete against five of the most accomplished Japanese contenders from "Sasuke" in a high stakes battle for international dominance. Representing Team USA are Brian Arnold, Paul Kasemir, James McGrath, Travis Rosen and Brent Steffensen, who will compete against Team Japan's Kazuma Asa, Hitoshi Kanno, Ryo Matachi, Shingo Yamamoto and two-time "Sasuke" Grand Champion Yuji Urushihara. Contestants will tackle all four stages of the Las Vegas "finals" course in a new head-to-head format that pits members from each team against one another. In the end, the championship trophy and international bragging rights will go to the victors in this inaugural USA vs. Japan contest. Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbaja Biamila host and Jenn Brown co-hosts.
