Pig fears that Violetta might be in danger and attempts to report her disappearance. Bosco's true killer demands an investigation about the whereabouts of his daughter. A body raises suspicions about Violetta's death and Guerrero is the prime suspect. Pig has a new story to write, and this time no detail will be spared; Violetta's revenge is now in his hands.
While investigations continue into Bosco's death, Violetta seeks the help of her Diablo Guardián, but Pig is not ready to forgive her. Guerrero suspects that Violetta might have been the one to have stolen Bosco's computer and threatens her once again. Violetta receives information about Bosco's real killer, but a new murder will change everything.
After Bosco's murder, Violetta fears for her life. The agency decides to separate themselves from the scandal. Guerrero lies about a business trip to get away from the spotlight and Pig makes headway with his novel, but furious after finding out the truth, goes back to Marina. Violetta has a burst of jealousy that will have consequences.
When Bosco's scandal breaks, Guerrero confronts his ex-partner but both parties have dangerous information on each other. Guerrero threatens Marina and forces her to back down. Pig has plans to run away with Violetta and leave the past behind, but she sees an opportunity to get revenge on Guerrero and earn back her freedom. An unexpected event will test her.
Guerrero and Carballo attempt to close a new account with the son of an important client. Guerrero begins to suspect the romance between Pig and Violetta and decides to test her loyalty by sending her to a new client. Marina seeks justice for Rebecca, but can't get any proof unless Violetta testifies.
Pig gets his job back at the agency, but suspects of Violetta's involvement in Bosco's case and decides to set up a trap. At the same time, Rebeca bribes Bosco, Guerrero tries to manipulate the situation, but nothing goes as planned. Bosco leaves the agency threatening Guerrero. Pig and Violetta decide to start over.
Violetta and Pig turn to Marina to report Bosco's abuse, but they need proof to make a formal accusation. Pig attempts to get Pedro to spill, but in doing so reveals his and Violetta's true intentions. Faced with uncertainty, Pig and Violetta try to fix things, each in their own way.
An accidental elevator jam at the office serves as pretext for Pig to dig into Violetta's life, who starts to uncover stories about her past that are still after her. Pig expresses his interest in turning her life into a novel, but she is not ready to reveal everything just yet. Violetta can't escape the claws of her worst nightmare.
After turning down Eric and discovering that Nefas never planned on helping with her visa, Violetta escapes and finds an accomplice in Henry, disappointed he confronts Nefas. Violetta says goodbye to NY and six months later finds herself in Mexico, working for an agency alongside Pig. But there she´ll face a life she never imagined...
Violetta's plan fails. Gallego forgives her but hands her back to Nefas so he can pimp her out. When everything seems to be going wrong, Superman reappears. Without knowing her story, he tries to convince Violetta to leave with him and get married. She confesses everything. Nefas takes Violetta to a strange new client. This time she will not stand for any more abuse.
Violetta attempts to be smarter than Nefas and to work directly with El Gallego, but Henry figures out her plan. Violetta feels trapped in a life she didn't envision for herself and she begins to look for a way out. Meanwhile, her relationship with El Gallego intensifies and she decides to take advantage of the situation to set them all up.
Pig and Rosalba begin an affair. Rosalba's mysterious past awakens Pig's curiosity. In New York, Violetta starts a relationship with Nefas, who quickly shows his dark side. Her ingenuity and her vices make her the perfect new addition to Nefas' line of work, and she decides to bear all kinds of abuse in order to achieve her goal: become legal.
Violetta arrives in Las Vegas. She meets Super Mario and discovers a taste for cocaine. Soon she runs out of money and goes back to her tricks. Now in a mess of trouble, she is rescued by Antonio Guerrero, "Nefas", who promises to help her get a legitimate visa. Pig starts a new job in an advertising agency. His rebellious attitude and intelligence are celebrated by some but envied by others.
Violetta enjoys her new career until Martha, the hotel manager, discovers her. Not finding success elsewhere, she decides to trust Martha, but ends up getting kicked out of the hotel. With this, Violetta decides to take a break from NY. Pig begins an open relationship with Noemí, who has a similar arrangement with her boss. He decides to use the interesting details as material for his novel.
After being fooled, Violetta attempts to make some money by using her old tricks on the Vanderbilt clients. Seeing that luck is not on her side, she realizes her body is her best money maker. While Pig mourns the death of Mamita, he avoids loneliness with a string of lovers and starts to work as a writer for a digital newspaper, where he meets Noemí and the two begin an odd relationship.
Violetta discovers that Superman used some of her money to rent an apartment, while disappointed at first, she gives in to the routine of a serious relationship. She soon gets bored and goes back to her life of tricks, pushing Eric away. Despite trying to avoid his grandmother's illness, Pig is forced to be by her side until her last breath.
Violetta crosses the border with the money she stole from her parents. There she meets Eric, a handsome young Texan with whom she travels to New York. In between sightseeing and shopping, Eric tries to make it as an actor and Violetta helps him the only way she knows how: by cheating. Pig experiments with drugs and meets Sopa. His luck begins to change when Mamita confesses that she is sick.
Pig visits Violetta's grave and discovers a tape recording that reveals the story of Rosa del Alba Valdivia. Violetta narrates to Pig how she found the way to escape her mediocre life and head to the city of her dreams: New York. Meanwhile, we get a glimpse into Pig's life, a young writer who lives with his grandmother and who tries to find a story that will bring his novel to life.
