The Dawgs take a second stab at the Boulevard at Capital Centre. This time, they bring home finds from a Japanese restaurant, a bank and a spa, including shoji screens and bullet-resistant plexiglass. The Dawgs get a huge opportunity in suburban Washington, DC, where they work on the former site of the Capital Centre. The arena was demolished in 2002, but the mall that replaced it is now being redeveloped. First up is a barbecue restaurant that closed just two years after it was built. Back in Roanoke, Tay builds a breakfast table out of an old car engine.

The Dawgs head to Martinsville, VA, to salvage a house that was condemned after an electrical fire. Knowing they have a customer looking for a kitchen island, Mike and Robert take advantage of a granite counter in the burned-down home.

Moneta Diner and Drive-In May 29, 2019

The Dawgs travel to Moneta, Virginia, to salvage a diner and drive-in that were destroyed by a fire. Their priorities include a kiosk booth and a mobile stage, but retrieving such large items will require some maneuvering. Back at the shop, Mike gets sentimental while building a bar for the Stone House using metal he's held onto for over a decade.

After a call from their old friend, Captain Tim, the crew travels to Norfolk, Virginia, to salvage a fireboat from Baltimore. When they return to the shop, Mike and Tay enlist the help of a local coppersmith to fashion unique foot baths for Hotel Roanoke.

The team organizes a Dawg vs. Dawg build competition after Mike and Robert get a tip on an abandoned power plant from an old client in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Mike and Tay have a consultation for a project from a brewery but before they can start building they have to head to a salvage job in Kannapolis, NC. The project proves to be a large job where the Dawgs have to salvage a cupola, doors, bathrooms and porticos. Time is not on their side, either, as the whole town needs to be salvaged for an upcoming revitalization.

The crew finds a gem with a log cabin tucked inside an old farmhouse, but they struggle to disassemble and demo the property due to the ever-increasing mud. The team must also meticulously document the placement of each beam, board and panel for when they rebuild the cabin for a lucky buyer.

The team travels to Clifton Forge, Virginia, to conquer C&O Railway's vast repair space. Using force and lots of tools, they work to salvage the steam engine repair plant by saving railway bases and corrugated glass. Later, the guys take apart a baby grand piano and repurpose it into a shelf.

Mike and Robert give Tay a history lesson with an old dentistry x-ray machine before the team loads up for a project in Grottoes, VA. They start at Cosby Brothers Mill where they hope to salvage some old mill parts if they can figure out a way to safely get them from the third story. Mike and Robert then travel up the road to see what can be done with an old repurposed barn. Tay and Mike start a kitchen desk build back at the shop with some old salvage materials.

After working together to remove an old transom, Grayson and Robert remove some cool valves while Mike discovers some additional salvage in a shed near the building. Back at the shop, Grayson helps build a bar and Robert brings in an unusual find that usually doesn't mesh well with the Dawgs.

The Salvage Dawgs head to Henderson, NC, to salvage parts from an old home that used to house young female teachers. Tay and Robert begin removing the attic ladder and door while Grayson and Ted tackle the interior doors. After removing the door, archway and columns from the front entrance, the team begins removing the home's fire escape. Back at the shop, Mike and Tay begin a custom hall tree using doors from a previous salvage.

The Dawgs stay close to home to salvage the old Salem Peacock Cleaners in Salem, Virginia. Over 100 years old, the building is filled with antique laundromat parts that the crew carefully removes, including a fur fumigator door, steam press and soapstone sink. With a full truck, the team loads up and heads back to Roanoke so Tay and Grayson can begin making a ladder wine rack.

The Salvage Dawgs return to Hot Springs, VA, to salvage another home before it gets demolished. The house has some great Eastlake hardware worth salvaging as well as Majorca tile, mantles and pocket doors. Mike mixes steel and wood for a modern side table with floating shelves, while Robert brings in some old ceramic glove molds to sell in the store.

The Salvage Dawgs try something a little different by bidding on a 1947 Beechcraft airplane. Mike goes a little over budget to win the auction and the crew has to hire professionals to figure out how to disassemble it properly. Black Dog Salvage returns to the Ludwig mansion in Pennsylvania to get what they left behind from the first salvage. They're concentrating on the outside of the house including the roof tiles, windows and the boiler room. Tay gets competitive by racing to quickly take out the casement windows while Mike and Ted go up high and try to salvage as many of the roof tiles as they can. Down at the shop, Grayson looks for materials to build a spice rack for her kitchen and Robert brings in a vintage scale to see who, exactly, has been slacking on the job.

Black Dog Salvage travels south to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to save what they can from a storybook-style home in two days. The heat takes a toll on the team, but they find some unique chandeliers, sinks, windows and a nice Dutch door. Mike comes up with a functional design for a garment rack that can be rolled anywhere and Robert is excited about some old items that remind him of his Navy days.
